How you got started riding:
My first bike was a hand-me-down bike named Pee-Wee which I modified with a motorcycle style seat and shake-can spray paint. My friends and I would ride from our houses on the south side of Iowa City to Hickory Hill Park and ride the trails (don’t do this now kids, it’s illegal!). I bought my first road bike (a Fuji) at World of Bikes with student loan money after seeing the movie Breaking Away in college. When mountain bikes became a thing, my first one was a Kona Explosif also purchased at World of Bikes.

Solo mountain bike ride or slow gravel ride chatting with friends.
