Founded in 1974, World of Bikes is Iowa City’s longest standing bicycle shop and continues to be locally owned and operated. We pride ourselves on being a shop where EVERYONE is welcome. We love living in Iowa City and are grateful for every opportunity we get to serve the community.

Does your garage look like mine? Let World of Bikes help create more space at your place with our winter storage. We will pick your bike up and store it for you this Winter, then bring it back washed and lubed next Spring. While it’s here, our
Did you know you can order bikes and accessories directly through Trek Bikes, have it delivered to us, and we’ll do the assembly and have it ready for pick up? You get all the WoB benefits that you’d get if you walked in and bought it off
We will be preforming our annual store inventory on Wednesday, November 13. Sorry for any inconveniences! Believe us….we’d rather be open than counting parts!
Save the date! Thursday December 5 will be our 3rd annual ride from the shop to the @holidaylightsatthelake display at the West Overlook campground. World of Bikes will cover the entrance fee but additional donations are appreciated. Plan to leave WO
